What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Rize - Carmel?
The first and last impression of our organization with every guest is set with the host. Team members in this role get the opportunity to connect with guests by showing warmth, compassion, and genuine interest. Accuracy with reservations, special requests/ accommodations, and management of the reservation system is of utmost importance.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Greet and seat guests, presenting the restaurant's menu and sharing Chef's daily features
· Attends to guest phone calls, answers questions related to reservations and facilitates the reservation process.
· Maintains the waitlist by obtaining guest information and providing accurate quote times for seating and manages the floor by observing each table’s progression through service.
· Cleans, organizes, and maintains menus, host stand, restrooms, foyer, windows, etc.
