WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
The Financial Analyst will lead efforts in managing financial analysis, short and long term planning, project & cost analysis, and budget management functions. This position will work closely with all company departments on a regular basis to analyze the business, identify, and recommend actions which support company objectives and drive financial results.
This is an opportunity to build a lot of new functionality into our Finance organization. This person will take the lead on understanding what factors will move our business forward, then influencing adoption across teams. Our expectation is that this person will take a proactive approach and contribute towards market research, building forecasting, tweaking pricing models, designing investor reporting, among other objectives.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other software tools to build forecasts, financial reporting, comparative analyses, ad-hoc reports, and operational metrics dashboards
- Study industry and economic trends to understand and interpret how and when market data applies to our business
- Coordinate with other members of the organization (specifically on the Growth, Compliance, and Client Services teams), to provide analysis of forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
- Establish and evaluate profit plans
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks related to month-end close, invoicing, and day-to-day accounting operations

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Quickbooks Online required
- Intermediate knowledge of GAAP accounting required
- High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
- Strong fluency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets required
- 3 years of financial analysis experience in the Banking, Payments, or Fintech industry preferred
- Previous experience in a financial industry dealing with interchange highly preferred
