Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Duties:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable process, including reviewing invoices, processing payments, and resolving discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential errors or fraudulent activities
- Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, principles, and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Knowledge of governmental accounting standards is a plus
- Familiarity with wills, trusts, estate law is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,473.00 - $100,000.00 per year
