Job Brief
As an RKR Territory Manager you are the sales, service and support arm for our manufacturer partners within an assigned geographical area within RKR’s Rocky Mountain region. In this role, we seek outstanding organizational and sales skills while also expecting excellent communications and the ability to understand customer needs.
Ultimately RKR expects honesty, the ability to find and provide accurate information to our customers, timely communication, and the ability to build relationships within the industry.
With our headquarters based in Denver, CO, this position will require someone who is comfortable working remotely.
Responsibilities
- Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies
- Analyze data to determine trends and sales methods
- Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
- Present products and services to prospective customers
- Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows, sporting events, factory trips, etc.) to cultivate customer relationships
- Monitor competition within assigned region
- Prepare and submit reports into management
- Territory includes Albuquerque north up to Durango, CO.
Requirements
- Experience as an Outside Salesperson, Territory Manager, etc.
- Experience in the Plumbing/Heating industry
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational and leadership ability
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Willingness to travel (factory/customer trips, training, etc.)
- High School Diploma
- Any college experience a plus but not a requirement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
