Shift Hours: 8am - 5pm / 9am - 6pm (MON-FRI / must have flexibility based on business needs)
Position Location: Arden NC
Pay: $22.00 to $25.00 (Pay based on experience)
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator performs assignments directed to sustain the function in providing the employees, Supervisors and Managers with information and services involving established processes. Carries out responsibilities in the HR functional areas that are important to the day-to-day execution of assigned human resources duties in order to support the business strategy.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
· Coordinate the day-to-day execution of assigned human resources duties to support the business strategy.
· Assist in the implementation of human resources strategies, procedures, and processes for the BU to help build and sustain a high-performance organization
· Lead and/or assist in the coordination of career fairs and special projects involving campus, military, diversity recruitment, etc.
· Assist in generalist field support to both DC and salaried employees to ensure that administrative needs are met for HR services including benefit open enrollment, compensation cycles, safety program administration, Government requirements such as EEOC, OSHA, and Vets reporting, other regulatory compliance, and overall employee relations policy administration
· Organizes employee engagement activities and employee events. Promotes our culture of inclusion
· Supports Managers with timekeeping and attendance programs to ensure payroll accuracy
· Assists in other tasks or Special Projects within the Human Resources function.
· Assumes additional duties and responsibilities related as required and assigned.
Required Education and Qualifications:
· High School Graduate or equivalent required.
· Associates Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.
· 0- 2 years of relevant and progressive HR Experience
· Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
· Excellent communications skills both written and verbal with a strong desire to serve and grow a dynamic organization
· Should have strong analytical skills and have the ability to track and interpret data
