Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the client’s business unit(s) with the management of various agreements among the client’s customers, external partners, and/or vendors/suppliers.
Responsibilities
Structure, develop, and manage assigned customer purchase agreements, including renewals and amendments, and respond to highly complex RFPs
Oversee research on existing agreements for compliance, performance, and issue resolution
Respond to complex post-execution contract inquiries and modification requests
Review exception purchase orders and facilitate resolution of non-standard terms, including 3rd party assignments and acceptance criteria
Manage a wide variety of high- impact assigned contracts to ensure customer eligibility and milestone compliance; monitor volume and other contract performance reporting, validate pricing discounts, and payment of contract fees (as applicable)
Serve as primary point of contact with customers, legal, finance/revenue recognition, business unit, sales, and other stakeholder teams for post award issues and agreement interpretation
Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives
Interface with outsourcing partners and off-shoring entities
Manage functional advice and information to customers and internal organizations for active contracts, including pricing related activities
Manage and confirm approvals and signatures across needed stakeholders, and prepare data for system entry and agreement archiving (support contract life cycle needs)
Collaborate with finance personnel on compliance reporting and audit requirements for a variety of assigned deals or accounts
Facilitate domestic and single business contracts-related projects, including new product introductions and new program implementations
Identify, propose, and implement business process/workflow and policy improvements
Help train team personnel on new processes and procedures
Occasionally work 40 hours in a week to meet certain team milestones
Perform other duties as needed
Education and Credential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Laws, Supply Chain, or related field
Eligible to work in the US without RLA sponsorship for employment visa status
Experience Requirements
6-10 years of experience in a contracts management role
Used various tools/platforms and processes for contract generation, markup, and execution
Worked on cross functional teams across consumer and/or commercial hardware or software products and services
Used Agile/Scrum management methodologies on large scale projects to have consistently met deadlines, successfully triaged changing priorities, identified risks, and tracked issues to resolution
Ability to respond to highly complex RFP's
Experience successfully triaging changing priorities and being flexible on business needs
Experience communicating directly with customers and/or external partners
Familiarity with business law and ability to articulate internal policies and standards to countersigning parties
Experience drafting reports and presentations to leadership
Computer industry knowledge
PMP or PMI certification preferred
Skills Requirements
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
High proficiency using productivity software such as M365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams and SharePoint)
Ability to use agile/scrum project/program management principles and methodologies to consistently meet task deadlines, triage changing priorities, and track issues to resolution
Ability to collaborate across diverse teams with a customer service mindset
Work Environment
