What You Will Do :
The Life Sciences Life Sciences Dealdesk Specialist role is the frontline representative for Sales Operations supporting the recently established RLD Life Sciences Business Unit.
As the Life Sciences Dealdesk Specialist, you benefit from exposure to the sales, marketing, finance, and product teams.
The role will triage, direct, and answer requests from these groups. Requests may include contract retrieval to client negotiations, and even process improvements.
This position is a broad role with opportunity for future growth and learning. This role is an important resource for our sales team and are often leaned on as the superuser for Salesforce.

The key roles and responsibilities expected to be delivered by the Life Sciences Dealdesk Specialist include :
Managing the inbound Dealdesk inbox help requests as they relate to Life Sciences
Triaging requests, handling commercial queries from the Sales teams, Account Management Teams and Renewals Teams.
Managing commercial processes, including but not limited to :
- Quote to cash lifecycle
- Preparing Order Forms for all New and Renewal opportunities in Life Sciences
- Being a Super User of Salesforce to guide the Life Sciences Sales team
- Archiving signed contracts, ensuring we can always find the final contracts.
Championing the automation and standardisation of contract templates and Order Forms.
Supporting the Renewals and Account Management Teams
Adherence to RLDatix commercial standards
Cleanliness and integrity of Salesforce data
Drafting of contract amendments
Review of legally binding documents, such as Master Services Agreements
Document management, archiving, record keeping
Other tasks as required by the Sales Systems and Commercials Manager
The Life Sciences Dealdesk Specialist will be responsible for delivering on the following metrics :
Accuracy and timeliness of responses to queries.
Ability to assist on other matters, as required.
Turnaround times from Quoting to Invoicing Customers.

Candidates would ideally have :
Essential :
Finance or para-legal background.
Experience with CRM platforms (ideally Salesforce)
Knowledge of quote to cash lifecycle
Strong communication skills
Ability to lead without authority
Willingness to adapt and learn
Desirable :
Prior experience working with a Sales team
Exposure and some experience creating and improving organizational processes
Experience working in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals or Bi-tech industries
Prior experience with contract negotiations, ideally more than $10,000
Knowledge of Software As A Service (SAAS) business model
