Nox Group is thrilled to announce that our RMCI company is currently seeking a talented and dynamic Project Executive to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the most innovative, challenging, and exciting projects in the Southwest, specifically focusing on self-perform Water, Wastewater, and Industrial construction.
Responsibilities
- Ability to manage several complex Water, Wastewater and Industrial construction projects simultaneously, or a large construction program with a high degree of effectiveness, accuracy and accountability.
- Effectively communicates and collaborates with the Vice President(s) of Operations and Vice President(s) of Field Operations
- Has overall responsibility for Water, Wastewater and Industrial construction project team success, including alignment with RMCI culture and Core Values, in addition to project safety, quality, schedule, client satisfaction and profitability.
- Ensures all Project Manager responsibilities are properly managed and executed.
- Participate in and potentially lead the business development process, including the establishment and management of client relationships, proposal development, presentations, and negotiations.
- Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with owners, engineers, architects, and trade partners.
- Responsible for understanding and negotiating prime contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, and purchase order agreements
- Ensures change orders and/or contract amendments are executed in a timely manner and within the signatory limits
- Reviews cost models, cost estimates and construction schedules in detail to ensure project success from preconstruction to final completion.
- Support national expansion and client relationship development.
- Champions the orderly and timely transition from preconstruction to construction
- Mentors and develops Project Managers for future leadership roles
Qualifications
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and effectively communicate with current and/or prospective clients, construction leadership/management, project leaders and site support personnel.
- 10 years in a Project, Program or Construction Management role
- 5 years of Water, Wastewater and Industrial construction project experience
- Strong understanding of managing partnerships with regulatory bodies such as the city, county, state, EPA, etc.
- Extensive industry networking background
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Outward leadership presence
- Possesses excellent organizational, verbal, written and presentation skills
- Experience leading Water, Wastewater and Industrial project teams and successfully achieving project goals
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relative construction experience as a Project Manager, Construction Manager or Project/Construction Executive
- Extensive relative construction experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
