Recording time and production data
Adjusting thermostats and observing a pyrometer to maintain the temperature between specified limits
Setting furnace control to regulate the temperature and heating time
Measuring the temperature of the products to determine the necessity for adjusting furnace temperature using thermal instruments and charts
Preparing equipment and ensuring production settings are accurate
Monitoring daily operation of machinery, adjusting settings as necessary
Loading and unloading furnaces
Performing routine maintenance on equipment
Operating related equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required
