What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Homeland Security Exercise Analyst position at RMGS Inc?
RMGS is seeking a Junior Homeland Security Exercise Analyst to support the design, development, conduct, and evaluation of discussion and operations-based exercises, pursuant to the Homeland Security Exercise & Evaluation Program (HSEEP), as well as supporting the implementation of the organizational exercise and evaluation program for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Exercises Infrastructure Security & Exercise Branch. Applicants will also be responsible for: coordinating and maintaining the relationship between the contractor's staff and stakeholders to optimize performance and cross-functional expertise and support performance, measurement, and reporting; applying expertise in emergency management preparedness programs and principles and applicable documents; and maintaining the established high-quality level of deliverables and products.
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience with supporting emergency management response projects and/or exercise planning
- Experience with the application of and/or certified in HSEEP principles and doctrine to the design, development, conduct, and evaluation of exercises
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Ability to attend meetings at the client site in Arlington, VA
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- Ability to obtain DHS suitability
- BA or BS degree
Additional Requirements
- Experience as an analyst of emergency management policies, programs, and procedures supporting state or federal agencies
- Experience with critical infrastructure owners and/or operators
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
