Swiss Lead Position Summary
The Cell Leader will coordinate, monitor, and lead the activities of the Swiss machining team in support of assigned goals and objectives in a manufacturing environment, working with a variety of production machinery and equipment. This position is 1st shift!
Shift Differential and Sign-On Bonus Available: $1,000-$5,000 dependent on level of experience!
Responsibilities
Swiss Cell Lead Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be able to work weekend shift (6:00am-6:30pm, F-Sun w/ 4 hour kicker)
- Execute to the production schedule
- Assign employees to run machines and jobs, ensuring that machines are running efficiently and effectively
- Ensure the area has materials and supplies to meet prodution needs
- Provide employees on the job training and mentoring
- Ensure employees are following work instructions and processes
- Communicate production issues, schedules and priorities within and between teams
- Provide employees with goals, performance initiatives, areas of accountability, conducting corrective action when needed
- Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets and checklists
- Maintain an organized (5s) work area
- Participate and lead team to participate in Operational Excellence program (lean manufacturing)
- Understand and comply with Cretex professional competencies, company policies and employee manual
- Adhere to safety policies, support the company quality systems and processes
- Complete all other work as assigned
Qualifications
Swiss Cell Lead Position Requirements
- 5 years realted operations experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, equipment and processes
- Experience managing internal relationships and team facilitation
- Problem solving and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to take direction from the area manager
- Ability to train and develop employees
- Ablility to work in a manufacturing environment around chemicals, fumes, dust and odors
Swiss Cell Lead Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
- Previous experience in a leadership role with direct reports
- Programming experience with Swiss CNC Machines
- Experience with set-up on Swiss CNC Machines
- Experience in troubleshooting of Swiss CNC Machines
- Preferred business/technical degree
