What are the responsibilities and job description for the ICU/CCU/Flight Nurse position at RNStaff?
Rural Alaska hospital seeking experienced intensive care flight nurse who wants a once in a lifetime and clinically challenging opportunity to serve in northwestern bush Alaska.
Position will work with advanced and nationally certified paramedic as a team to provide up to complex care on fixed wing air ambulance to Alaskan Native villages transporting to Nome for stabilization and or then to Anchorage for advanced care not available in Nome. Must be proficient in IV drips, critical care meds, managing intubated patients.
Flights total about 400 per year. Hours based on patient needs.
Shifts will be guaranteed 40 hours per week with on call.
COVID with one booster and Flu vaccines required.
minimum required credential are BLS, ACLS, PALS.
