About The Position
Ro Health is hiring Registered Nurses who want to gain and expand their experience in the Department of Corrections. In addition to the correctional facility in the Corcoran, CA area Ro Health is also a preferred staffing partner to 29 other facilities for the Department of Corrections, as well as School Districts, Hospitals, and Home Health Care all over the state of California.

Position Details:
- Area: Corcoran, Fresno, Hanford, Avenal, Bakersfield, and other parts of CA
- Specialty: Registered Nurse, Corrections
- Positions Available: Full Time, 40 hours per week
- Shifts vary: AM, PM, Noc Shift
- Target Start Date: ASAP
Compensation / Benefits:

Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, 12 months work experience in the past 3 years
- California State Registered Nursing License that is in good standing and up to date
- Current BLS Card (American Heart Association is a must possess or be willing to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
Necessary Skills:
- Plan and implement nursing care including the administration of medication, therapeutic agents, treatments and disease prevention, orders by the physician, and obtain specimens for diagnostic testing;
- Participate as a member of the inter-disciplinary team in developing multi-disciplinary treatment efforts; assist physicians with medical or minor surgical procedures, and prepare records and other reports;
- Provide observation, ongoing patient assessments, and therapeutic intervention consistent with the patient physical and psychological status; evaluate effectiveness of patient treatment regimens and record progress
- Document all nursing activities in medical records, including an initial nursing assessment, treatment interventions, and patient education
- Ensure a safe therapeutic environment for the patient and staff; maintain order; and supervise the conduct of patient
