This is a Full-Time position, with exceptional benefits, a strong management team that will build your mechanic skills. As a Mechanic, you provide superior service at all times to our dealerships and field operations. This includes but is not limited to performing various mechanical functions at our service center—Responsible for repairing automobiles in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Prepare vehicles for sale including receipt of vehicles and preliminary evaluations. At Superior Auto, we seek driven individuals with a positive winning attitude. QUALITY MECHANIC SKILLS BY:

• Performing necessary repairs on vehicles prior to sale.
• Test drive vehicles before and after repairs are made in order to ensure that any problems have been successfully repaired.
• Consult with Service Manager on all vehicles to determine repairs needed.
• Maintain records of all repairs and invoices daily.
• Manage inventory of shop supplies.
• Checking in and evaluating new vehicles for safety and appearance.
• Performing general maintenance and repairs on vehicles as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by a leader.

WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 or more years of mechanic experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to travel as necessary
