Job Title: Railcar Prepper
Starting pay: $15.30 per hour
Location: Melvindale MI.

Position Summary:
You will perform the essential cleaning and inspection functions necessary to prepare railcars for transport.
Job Description:
- This a manual labor position outside in the weather elements
- Climbing ladders in of heights of 16-20 feet is required
- Lifting up to 50lbs. throughout the shift is required at times
- Inspect and assist in opening and closing railcar end doors
- Inspect railcars for damage/fatigue
- Identify repairs that can be performed by Road & Rail Services
- Through the use of backpack blowers and various scraping devices remove all debris and other contaminates which could potentially cause vehicle damage
- Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures
What's Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or Ability
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
- Valid state driver's license
- Desire to succeed!!
