We are currently seeking Traffic Control Technicians (TCT) to join our team and work with the Traffic Control Department at our work sites in the Lexington, SC area and will work at job sites throughout the state of South Carolina. Our Traffic Control Technicians maintain a safe work zone by ensuring that traffic stays out of the way of our workers. This involves setting up and removing temporary cones, signs, variable message boards, and safety barriers that show traffic where to drive, as well as holding up signs that tell traffic to either stop or to proceed slowly. If you enjoy working outdoors and have prior construction industry experience, we welcome you to apply. The starting pay is $15.00 - $16.00 per hour depending on experience. We offer 100% paid on-the-job training!
Will need to be able and willing to commute to our branch office in Lexington, SC

What You'll Do:
Support project as Flagger as needed to create a safe work area
Set-up signs, cones, etc. around work areas to divert traffic
Lead job site team and instruct / monitor and train crew members on safety and job assignments on occasion
Complete daily paperwork accurately and timely
Operate a 2-way radio
Work under the Supervision of the Project Manager and the TCS
Communicate with contractors and relate specific customer / job changes and other information to Supervisor, Project Manager, office staff, or others
Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers
Work efficiently in a team environment and independently when assigned
What We Need from You:
Valid driver’s license required and be able to complete a company sponsored Defensive Driver training successfully
2000 hours and / or one year of Traffic Control experience strongly preferred
Hold a current ATSSA TCT Certification or have the ability to obtain one
Truck-Mounted Attenuator Operator (TMA) Certified or the ability to pass a TMA certification course
Comfortable being regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment, and machinery parts, and working around moving traffic, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate / loud noise levels
Ability to lift / move more than 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to travel and work overnight
