What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quarry Repairman position at Robar Enterprises?
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, or systems.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
- Monitoring and adjusting production processes.
- Performing routine maintenance on machinery.
- Troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Communicating with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Diagnose and fix mechanical problems quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain quarry organization.
Qualifications:
- Experienced fixed plant mechanic, certified welder, understands crushing/screening/power transmission.
- 2 years’ experience in a Rock Quarry Plant preferred.
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; Previous MSHA training is a plus.

- Standing for prolonged periods of time

- Works in many different weather conditions

Salary : $23 - $30
