Ensure the smooth running of our office on a day-to-day basis:
OFFICE
- Greet clients and schedule appointments for tax staff.
- Answer phones (provide copies of tax return to clients, answer calls about status of tax returns, route call to appropriate staff).
- Maintain and order office supplies and routine office duties for upkeep.
TAX RETURNS
- Received documents from clients, setup projects, copy documents and scan. Post project to Practice.
- Process completed tax returns, email copies to clients and arrange for client signatures.
- Meet with clients to sign returns. Manage efiling tax returns.
FILES
- Scan completed work for electronic file cabinet. Manage and insure everything is scanned correctly and completely prior to disposing of documents.
FIRM ACCOUNTING
- Prepare monthly billing for accounting clients
- Accounts Receivable – Post receipts and make deposits. Prepare monthly statements and manage collections.
- Accounts Payable – Post approved invoices and pay on a weekly basis.
CLIENT PAYROLL AND BOOKEEPING
- Assist with payroll processing
- Light bookkeeping for clients using Sage or Quickbooks (including Quickbooks Online)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Microsoft Office: 5 years (Preferred)
- Administrative experience: 5 years (Preferred)
