Design Department Administrative Coordinator
Robert E. Lamb, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Design Department Administrative Coordinator to add to our growing firm. Founded in 1917 and located in Valley Forge, PA, Lamb is a full-service A&E firm that specializes in the Planning, Design, and Construction of high-reliability Control Centers for Utility clients and facilities projects for industrial, manufacturing, food, and pharmaceutical clients. Lamb is comprised of registered Architects, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineers. Our success and current growth have been a result of our highly collaborative environment and our expertise in utilizing industry best practices and custom solutions for our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting Architects and Engineers with general and project-specific administrative duties
- Processing incoming/outgoing shop drawings and submittals from subcontractors and coordinating with our in-house Construction Department
- Updating master specification markups from design team
- Preparing project-specific specifications for client review
- Compiling meeting minutes, design narratives, and other project documentation
- Organizing Architect and Engineer state registrations
- Backup front desk duties, such as fielding incoming calls, shipments, etc.
Qualifications / Skills / Requirements:
- Previous similar/applicable experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) required
- Experience with construction management software (Procore) a plus
- Ability to take on and execute multiple concurrent tasks a must
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- U.S. Citizen; Background and drug test required
- Notary Public in PA is a plus
