Controller

Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with his Utica manufacturing client to find a Controller. Your responsibilities in this role

- Financial reporting

- Some treasury duties

- Perform tasks associated with month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis

- Work closely with executive team on strategic projects

- Management of AP and AR staff

- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly

- Assess, execute and improve policies, procedures and controls

- Special ad hoc projects when required

Responsibilities include...

- Solid understanding of Excel Formulas

- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

- Excellent technology, analytics and management experience required

- CPA or MBA is an asset

- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

- Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
