The Technical SEO Specialist is responsible for supporting organic search visibility across Robert Half’s websites, with a focus on auditing technical SEO health and proving ROI of fixes. This role, which reports into the SEO Manager, North America, will work with the larger SEO team, business analysts, and engineering teams to help articulate technical SEO issues and test fixes to ensure business needs are met. This role requires the ability to understand HTML, CSS, and JS to triage technical SEO issues and test solutions, with the ability to also understand Google traffic, indexation, and crawl data to ensure the efficacy of any released work. The Technical SEO Specialist will serve a key role in improving the technical and on-page SEO health of our website. The best person for this role will also be able to translate data points and findings into easily digestible talking points that take into account driving forces behind data shifts and subsequent business impact – not just the “what” but the “why.” The Technical SEO Specialist will also partner with the Global SEO Manager to support QAing our sites as they move to a new platform. JIRA ticket writing, editing, and updating as needed. Test against JIRA requirements in lower and production environments and provide feedback and/or sign-off. Periodically audit individual sites for technical improvements and on-page content fixes, including link updates and metadata improvements. Measure and track the effectiveness of SEO improvements using Google testing and reporting tools including Google Search Console, GA4, Rich Results, and Lighthouse. Provide monthly Google Search Console indexation & crawl stats audits and findings. Identify opportunities for optimizations and SEO enhancements using our analytics and SEO tools. Work with the Global SEO Manager to support re-platforming of our international sites with QA of pages and experiences before they are live to the public, populating data into tables for APIs, and supporting redirects. Support auditing and managing Google My Business profiles and other local listings as needed. Your experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of experience in SEO, web development, or a related industry. Proven track record of identifying and triaging technical SEO issues, ranging from more on page-focused issues like simple link and metadata updates to more complex code and indexation issues. Experience using online CMS systems, ideally Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Technical knowledge of website architecture and SEO best practices.
