Are you an up and coming Accounting Professional looking to join an organization with a meaningful mission while also achieving work/life balance? Our Valued Client, a healthcare service based non-profit organization, has partnered with Robert Half in search of an Accountant to join its growing team. This position offers a wonderful team-oriented environment and the ability to report directly into an accomplished Controller and Director of Finance who holds a CPA license and loves to mentor. This role plays a key part in the Accounting function of the organization and provides support to the Controller and Dir. of Finance daily. The Accountant position handles account analysis and reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, month-end and year-end close, grant accounting and reporting and various other ad-hoc tasks as they arise. Excellent communication and customer service skills in addition to an outgoing personality are a must for this position.
Minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or related field) in addition to 3 years of related experience in an accounting position. Must have strong systems skills including hands on experience working in a fully integrated general ledger system and intermediate level Excel skills are required. Non-Profit or Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related
- 3 years of recent and relevant accounting experience
- General ledger experience
- Month end closings experience highly desired
- Expertise in journal entries
- Account reconciliation experience
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Current and relevant ERP system experience
- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
- Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
- Grant accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of Blackbaud Accounting System a plus
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
