South Jersey firm is seeking a Staff Accountant. As the Staff Accountant you will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation.
- Enters journals entries, coordinates account payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
- Prepare financial statements
- Assist with cash receipts processing
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and account analysis.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy
Requirements
- 3 years accounting experience a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), QuickBooks experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Must have general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable knowledge
- Strong written and oral communication skills
