This Accountant position is for a reputable construction business with a great team. The Accountant position is a permanent role in the Grandville, Michigan, area. This position comes with terrific benefits, a wonderful work space/office, and a dynamic team culture.Ideal candidate will have experience in construction accounting/job costing with knowledge of AIA billing procedures. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work independently as part of a team and prioritize duties based on strict deadlines. Daily work would be supervised by Controller. Experience with ComputerEase software would be helpful but not required.- Prepare monthly contract/AIA billings- Prepare service and HMI billing reports for review by service dept.- Prepare service billings for mailing/email to customer- Track lien waivers- Prepare/send Notice of Furnishing- Prepare and make deposits electronically- Process credit card payment as necessary- Post AR payments to customer account- Prepare and send monthly statements to customers- Job folder filing- Assist with month end procedures as requested Requirements - Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested- Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment- General familiarity with Invoice Issues- Practical knowledge of customer invoices- Well-founded grasp of Invoice Entry- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel- Quality experience with Coding Invoices- AIA Billing experience- Excel Formulas experience- Microsoft Excel experience highly desired- Excel Formulas experience- AIA Documents experience required- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred- 5 years of accounting experience required- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience requiredApply below or contact Tracie Howe @ 616-600-8723Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
