Our client, a consumer products organization is in search of a contract / temporary staff accountant for 1 -2 months. This is an hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days in office which is based in Los Angeles, CA. This candidate will be expected to perform the following duties:
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly and year-end close process including: o Perform and upload journal entries o Perform analytics on variances and resolve issues • Complete/Review monthly account reconciliations including variance investigation for cash and cash equivalents, A/R, A/P, prepaid, accruals, deferrals, credit card payables, payroll liabilities, fixed assets, etc. • CPG experience • Netsuite preferred • L.A. preferred -- we'd like to have this person in office 2-3x per week
