The primary responsibility of this role will be to create and update Excel spreadsheets accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of debits and credits, as well as excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track financial data and perform various accounting functions.
Enter financial transactions, including debits and credits, into spreadsheets with precision and attention to detail.
Verify the accuracy of data by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, based on the provided data.
Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
Collaborate with other team members to gather necessary information for financial analysis and reporting.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy of financial statements.
Follow internal control procedures and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
Stay updated on accounting regulations, principles, and best practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, preferably with experience in spreadsheet management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
