Our client is currently seeking individuals to join their team for a short-term accounting project, and Robert Half is assisting in the recruitment process. If you have a basic understanding of debits and credits, experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), along with proficiency in accounting software or ERP systems, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:As an accounting assistant, you will be responsible for:Reviewing supplier statements of accountsAssisting in tracking down necessary paperwork and approvalsMatching material and general receiptsCoordinating documentation for check runsPrinting invoices and packing slipsFiling as neededCompleting various assignments as requested by the Accounting ManagerRequirements:Knowledge and Skills:Microsoft Office experience, including Outlook, Word, with intermediate skills in ExcelPrevious experience in Accounts Payable and General LedgerGood verbal and written communication skillsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift and move objects up to 20 poundsAbility to work in an office environment
