Carly Sahagian at Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Accounting Clerk with one of their reputable clients. The responsibilities of this position include matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). You will work with a dynamic team in a great workspace/office and have excellent benefits. This position is a permanent role and is located in the Government Camp, Oregon area.
Responsibilities
- Resolve discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; generate correction documents as required
- Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports
- Handle Accounts Receivable tasks: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
- Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
- Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting codes
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
- General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
- Manually or electronically post financial information
