The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:
- managing payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial audits
- prepare and consolidate monthly financial statements and reports for multiple entities
- partner closely with the controller in the formulation of internal controls and accounting policies
- make journal entries and reconcile accounts for the monthly and annual closings
- support the accounting department with all aspects of the general ledger
- assist with the development and evaluation of budgets and preparing budget reports
- preparing and assisting with external audits
- help in the development of reports for management or regulatory bodies
- review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
- participate in acquisitions of new brands including due diligence of financial statements and reports
requirements for the accounting manager include:
- bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5 years of accounting experience
preferred qualifications for the accounting manager include:
- cpa or actively pursuing the cpa
- public accounting experience
