Robert Half is currently recruiting for an established and expanding company in the Arcadia area that is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. You might be a good fit for this position if you can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. What you get to do every day
- Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
- Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met
- Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
- Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies
- Conduct reviews of accounts for accuracy and resolve escalated issues with vendors as it relates to billing, invoicing, and other accounting related issues.
- Help the Controller manage the accounting services such as month-end close, including A/P, A/R account reconciliations, journal entries, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements.
- Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Recent relevant financial experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
