We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Nashua, New Hampshire. The role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner. As part of our team, you'll be the primary contact point for all support and service in regards to student account billings and receivables.Responsibilities:• Efficiently process customer credit applications• Actively manage past due accounts to minimize bad debt write offs and referrals to collections• Assist with billing adjustments and manage holds on student accounts• Collaborate with student-facing departments to ensure an efficient billing process• Promote technology initiatives to support student self-service utilizing internal online portals• Maintain accurate customer credit records and ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of confidential data• Perform general administrative office functions such as managing mail, filing, and copying• Assist in collection activities, including placing collection calls and providing guidance on missing paperwork• Continuously send out bills and make phone calls to collect payment on past due accounts• Assist with preparing letters, reports, and various mailings.
