Robert Half is in the process of hiring an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk with a company located in San Rafeal, California, this position will be a long-term contract / temporary-to-hire opening. In this dynamic department, there is an opportunity for career growth and quick advancement. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/R issues, aging reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.
How you will make an impact
- Conduct full-cycle A/R
- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
- Help with internal and external audits as required
- Provide administrative assistance to the Finance Department
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
- Provide support to internal business partners
- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

- Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
- Deep understanding of Enter Vendor Invoices
- ERP Solutions experience preferred
- Coding Invoices experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- Prior experience in an A/R role preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
