How you will make an impact
- Supervise the accounting team during the closing process to certify deadlines are met
- Other distinguished duties when required
- Come up with relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like key financial metrics, the monthly flash report, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
- Sophisticated preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits
- Back implementation and make sure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
- Incite accountability and the meeting of deliverables
- Analyze and create Ad Hoc financial reports
- Help ensure a competent, trained staff through regular assessment, goal setting and development
- Draw up numerous procedures, policies, and technical accounting analyses
- Pinpoint and develop process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency
- Make sure regular account reconciliation to completion
- Backfill for Controller where necessary
- Participate with the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting
