Job Description:

Our client, a well-established law firm in Melville, NY, is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join their general litigation team. This role involves defending a wide range of personal injury and tort claims, including auto accidents, premises liability, products liability, and municipal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in a variety of litigation cases, primarily focused on personal injury and tort claims.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare motions and briefs.
• Engage in discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations as necessary.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
• Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
