In this role, the administrator will continually research new benefits programs, make improvements to existing programs, and supervise and monitor benefits administration. - Review transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
- Support organization to comply with applicable government regulations
- Create administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes
- Advise employees of their benefit options
- Oversee daily benefits processing
- Maintain detail oriented communication with accounting department and work closely with them regularly
- Organize leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker's compensation etc.)
- Manage all interactions and negotiations with all our service providers
- Oversee enrollments and determine employee eligibility
Requirements
- 3 years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or similar relevant field
- Hands-on experience with data analysis
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Knowledge of benefits contract language
- Accomplished in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
