In this position you will create invoices, credit memos, update accounting records and customer information, and send payment reminders. Major responsibilities
- Issue periodical customer account statements
- Distribute invoices and bills to customers via email, other digital systems, or in person
- Provide reminders for payments, contacting customers if needed
- Check payments for accuracy, including cash and online payments
- Follow up with vendor/client requests
- Gather all information needed for bills receivable calculation
- Manage journal entries of adjustments to billings
- Engage with vendors/clients regarding billing adjustments
- Keep accounting records up to date with all new payments, balances, customer information etc.
- Assist customers and handle billing complaints
- Construct reports to company's executives and senior managers
- Verify accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors
- Keep all customer account information up to date and manage any problems

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
