What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Clerk position at Robert Half?
Robert Half is looking for a Billing Clerk to join our client! As the Billing Clerk you will create invoices, credit memos, update accounting records, customer information, and send payment reminders. If you are a dynamic Billing Clerk with excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, this may be the role for you.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy of various types of payments (cash, online payments etc.)
- Help customers and manage complaints, including those regarding billing
- Manage client and vendor requests
- Construct reports to company's executives and senior managers
- Provide customers with bills and invoices via available channels (physically or via email or another digital system)
- Release periodical customer account statements
- Compose journal entries for all adjustments to billings
- Ensure accuracy of billing data and fix all errors as necessary
- Manage accounting records, recording all new payments, balances, customer information etc.
- Keep all customer account information up to date and manage any problems
- Gather all information needed for bills receivable calculation
- Discuss billing adjustments with clients and vendors
- Track payments and manage all reminders, and contact customers if needed
