We are working with a client in the Construction Industry seeking a Bookkeeper to join the team on contract-to-hire basis. The construction company is family owned and has been in business almost 30 years. The Bookkeeper will join a small office team and be responsible for AP, AR, billing, journal entries, and bank recs. A full list of job responsibilities is listed below.Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable (A/R):Generate and send invoices to clients.Record customer payments and manage collections.Handle releases (conditional & unconditional) as needed.Accounts Payable (A/P):Verify, record, and process bills accurately and in a timely manner.Reconcile credit card bills and manage payments.Miscellaneous Accounting:Perform bank deposits and reconcile bank statements.Record payroll journal entries.Assist with other accounting tasks as needed.Enroll, track, and audit Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIPs).Update and distribute customer price sheets annually.Prepare monthly Workers Comp Reports and calculate premiums.Work with external auditors during annual audits.If you have a passion for bookkeeping and meet the requirements outlined above, we invite you to apply!
