Key responsibilities
- Support quality archived records by filing documents
- Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Monitor accounts by balancing entries
- Oversee and manage general ledger
- Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience using accounting software
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Practical knowledge of Bank Balances
- Earlier work involving contracts
- Bank Account Reconciliation experience highly preferred
- Background working with bank reconciliations
- Foundational knowledge in general ledger
- Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Strong familiarity with Journal Entry
- Journal entries experience required
- Bookkeeping experience
- General familiarity with Bank Deposit
- Good understanding of Supply Ordering
- Experience with data entry
- Adeptness in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
