Job Duties Include:
- Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner
- Submit payroll taxes in a timely manner
- Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on a monthly basis
- Maintain and balance the general ledger
- Perform accounts payable functions including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
- Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
- Prepare financial reports
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-3 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
- Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Excel Skills
- Proven skills in QuickBooks
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or with a team
