Up to $52K Annually

30-hrs per week outside of tax season – full-time during tax season


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Drake and QuickBooks software is required.
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and tax preparation roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and tax preparation.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a part-time work schedule.


Job Summary: As a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Tax Preparer proficient in Drake and QuickBooks software, you will manage all financial aspects of our clients' businesses, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with tax regulations. This part-time position requires 30 hours per week and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Bookkeeping:
  • Utilize QuickBooks software to maintain complete and accurate financial records for clients.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions regularly.
  • Generate financial reports using QuickBooks for client review.
  1. Payroll Processing:
  • Process payroll for clients using QuickBooks, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments.
  • Handle payroll tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and address payroll-related inquiries.
  1. Tax Preparation:
  • Utilize Drake software to prepare and file individual and business tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Identify tax deductions and credits to minimize clients' tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws.
  • Stay updated on changes to tax regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients.
  • Provide tax planning guidance to clients to optimize their financial strategies.
