CFO

Our client seeks a CFO to lead their team in Tucson, Arizona (Non Profit). The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, developing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies, and managing relationships with financial service providers. This role will also involve collaborating with other organizations on strategic planning and fundraising strategies, and mentoring and leading a team of finance department staff.Responsibilities:• Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies that align with the organization's goals.• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.• Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.• Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.• Prepare annual budgets and financial plans and monitor progress against these plans.• Evaluate and manage risk, implement financial controls to safeguard organizational assets.• Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making.• Present financial reports to board of directors, stakeholders, and executive teams.• Collaborate with executive team members on strategic planning and organizational development.• Manage relationships with financial service providers including banks and insurance companies.• Oversee and evaluate the performance of the finance and accounting team.• Work closely with other nonprofit organizations and partners to develop strategies for fundraising and income generation.• Support auditing processes and cooperate with external auditors.• Mentor and lead a team of finance department staff.• Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
