CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:• Demonstrates highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adheres to company’s policies and procedures, and complies with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.Claims Administrationo Responsible for the Submission of Incident/Accident Reports for GL, Auto, Property and Workers’ Compensation claims and Summons & Complaints to appropriate insurance carrier or TPA.o Respond to adjusters and legal representatives as needed with claim information.o Monitor/strategize and work towards closing claims. Notify and distribute closeout documentation to appropriate parties.o Prepare check requests for deductible reimbursements to insurers.o Run semi-annual claim review meetings with various entities and 3rd party administrator or insurer.o Analyze and Coordinate Worker’s Compensation claim review meetings for Inland Devon Self Storage Holdings.o Responsible for OSHA compliance/reporting for Inland Devon Self Storage Holdings.Operationso Provide loss history reports to Asset Management during disposition of assets upon request. Loss Controlo Participate and lead property management training for proper claim reporting and property inspections. o Work with property management to update and maintain safety training for maintenance staff.o Collaborate with property management on site safety plans.
