Robert Half is supporting our client in the Richmond TX, area in the healthcare industry that is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Collector to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of outstanding receivables, assist our patients with setting up payment arrangements, process claims, submit appeals, and verify medical insurance.This position will be 100% onsite Pay is up to $21/hr DOE Responsibilities:Track, manage, and collect outstanding medical balancesPrepare statements and billings for patients and insurance companiesAnalyze, process and manage insurance claimsInteract with patients to address inquires on payment issues, statements, and insurance coverageMaintain complete and precise records of customer transactions and interactionsInitiate and follow through on appeals.Comprehend and comply with all state and federal laws relating to collections and healthcare (HIPAA)Collaborate with team members to achieve collective goals, meeting deadlines effectively
