A client of Robert Half is seeking a Contracts Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in upholding the commitment to regulatory compliance within the construction industry. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies across all projects. File Washington state intent to pay prevailing wage online at department of L& I website2. Follow up with subcontractors to file their intents to pay prevailing wage, and other compliance paperwork - ongoing throughout project3. Enter certified payroll into the Washington state L& I website - weekly4. Enter certified payroll into owner required payroll system (i.e., LCPtracker) if applicable - weekly5. Monitor subcontractor certified payroll for compliance - weekly6. Monitor subcontractor 2nd tier certified payroll for compliance - weekly7. Maintain a subcontractor document tracking spreadsheet for each job to determine eligibility for payment - weekly8. Maintain apprentice reports as necessary – monthly9. Assist subcontractors with completing closeout tasks10. Work with department of L& I to help correct intent & affidavit issues11. Work with subcontractors to correct intent & affidavit issues 12. Project-specific reporting as necessary13. Assist with archiving projects as requested14. Assist with filing projects as requested 15. Review subcontractor certificates of insurance for compliance and coordinate revisions;16. Requesting missing documentation from subcontractors and/or vendors;17. Logging, tracking, scanning;18. Back-up for the receptionist;19. Verify subcontractor responsibility.Compensation and Benefits: The hourly pay range for this position is $26/hour to $32/hour. Benefits available with this position include: medical, dental and vision insurance (100% employer-paid for employee); life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with an employer contribution of up to 8%; 1 week of PTO in the first year (increases with tenure), 1-week of sick time, and 7 paid holidays.
