Our valued client is looking for a Controller who is hands-on leader with healthcare experience, the ability to manage all accounting operational functions, handle the accumulation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and supervise staff. The Controller will be the right-hand to the CFO and act as a key member of the team.

Major responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation.
• Manage and oversee the accounting department and staff, including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. 
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (Including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements)
• Perform month-end close activities including account reconciliations, account analysis, journal entries, fixed assets, and day to day accounting operations.
• Assess, execute and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies.
• Manage the patient and insurance payment process for the revenue cycle.

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or related.
• 6 years of progressing accounting experience either as an Accounting Manager or Controller.
• Must have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude.
• Leadership and supervisory experience are required.

Plus:

• Medical Practice experience strongly preferred.
