Job Summary:
As the Interim Strategic Finance Leader, you will play a critical role in setting up the financial infrastructure of our manufacturing startup. You will be responsible for developing revenue projections, implementing financial models, and providing strategic guidance to senior leadership. Your expertise and insights will be crucial in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
Develop Revenue Projections: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and create accurate revenue projections for short-term and long-term financial planning.
Financial Modeling: Design and maintain financial models that effectively analyze and forecast revenue streams, expenses, capital requirements, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to establish financial goals and objectives aligned with the company's overall strategy. Provide recommendations and insights based on financial analysis to support decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and provide accurate forecasts for revenue, expenses, and cash flow. Monitor and analyze actual financial results against projections, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, highlighting key insights and trends for management and investors.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement internal controls and financial policies to ensure compliance and minimize exposure to financial risks.
Fundraising Support: Collaborate with the executive team in preparing financial information and analysis for potential fundraising activities, including investor presentations, due diligence, and valuation exercises.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and guidance to develop their skills and expertise.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that could impact the financial landscape. Provide recommendations on strategic initiatives to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Requirements
- Excellent proficiency in office and accounting computer systems
- Experience with Early-Stage Startup
- Expertise in Cash Flow Forecasts
- Proven knowledge of Early-Stage Startup
- Financial Projections experience desired
- Proficiency in Cash Flow Modeling
- Well-founded grasp of budget forecasting
- Gross Margin Analysis experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field
- CPA and/or CMA preferred
- Ability to manage, lead change and build process improvements
- Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
- Professional accounting and controllership or public accounting and internal controls experience and/or Internal Audit or Controls and Compliance
- Working knowledge of ERP system
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership across finance team by engaging with different groups around the world via virtual communication
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with experience in establishing trusted advisor/consultant relationships and proven ability to influence Executives and Business Decision Makers
Salary : $40 - $46
