Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Produce precise financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, for management and external stakeholders.
- Accounting Records: Maintain accurate accounting records, adhering to high standards of integrity and GAAP.
- Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Budgeting: Collaborate to establish budgets, track performance, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Consolidations: Oversee financial statement consolidation for multiple entities.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and address financial risks specific to manufacturing.
- Manufacturing Expertise: Leverage your industry knowledge to optimize financial performance.
- Accrual Accounting: Apply accrual accounting principles accurately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA preferred.
- 5-7 years' experience in closing, reporting, and budgeting.
- Minimum 3 years as a Controller.
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office.
- Software expertise: Epicor, Sage Fixed Assets, OneStream, Power BI.
- Strong internal control understanding.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Independent worker with critical thinking.
- Organized with a sense of urgency.
