Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop, monitor, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making by the executive team.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the financial performance of the company.
Hands-On Accounting:
- Direct and actively participate in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis and reconciliation to maintain the highest level of accuracy.
Periodic Accounting Close:
- Oversee and manage the month-end and year-end accounting close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting and analysis.
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements during close processes.
Cash Management:
- Manage cash flow and forecasting, ensuring the availability of funds for operational needs.
- Optimize banking relationships and negotiate terms with financial institutions.
