The Controller position is a permanent opportunity in the Kealakekua, Hawaii region. Planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff will be essential for this role. Please contact Leah Schreuders at 808.379.3849.Your responsibilities- Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis- Present executive committee and partners with monthly financial reports- Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll- Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management- Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts- Act on items beyond formal job responsibilities- Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies- Analyze deliverables of self and team to confirm they meet client expectations- Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation- Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection- Research, prepare and execute Finance Department initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as required

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
